This wizard will help you calculate the maintenance income and/or savings required for UK family visas under the new rules that came into effect from 9 July 2012.
This is commonly needed for the UK Spouse Visas.
If the UK resident sponsor is in receipt of non-disability benefits such as Job Seeker’s Allowance (JSA) or Income Support, you cannot qualify under this migration path.
If the applicant’s Sponsor is in receipt of Disability benefits (Disability Living Allowance, Severe Disablement Allowance, Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit, Attendance Allowance or Carer’s allowance, they are exempt from the financial requirements at this stage.
