An American fallback for potluck’s and , almost everyone knows green bean casserole. It hasn’t really caught on in the UK.

Green Bean Casserole

A staple in my family, this Campbell's Green Bean casserole recipe is easy to make and very tasty!

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cans green beans (drained)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (condensed)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 dash pepper
  • Dried Fried Onions ((Frenches in US, salad onions in UK))

Instructions

  1. Mix drained green beans, soup, milk, add soy sauce and pepper, mix,
  2. Add in half to 2/3 of the onions and mix all together.
  3. Bake at 177 C (350 F) for around 25 mins.
  4. Cover the top of casserole with the remaining onions and bake for about 5 mins more, or until the top is crispy.
