Whiskey Grill Glaze

Submitted by a member long ago, the flavour made famous by a popular restaurant chain (TGI..), so good, you could almost drink it. Perfect for glazing any grilled meats. This could also be used as a marinade before grilling. Or go for both, marinade overnight before the BBQ and then glaze after, if you really like the flavour.

Whiskey Grill Glaze

This glaze is perfect with steak, ribs, chicken, pork or fish! Brush onto grilled meats before removing from the BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1⁄2 cup whiskey (your choice)
  • 2 cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 beef bullion cubes
  • 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, place onion powder, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce, pineapple juice, whiskey, brown sugar, beef bouillon & Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and pour over grilled meats as desired.
